IceBooking

Privacy

This page describes how IceBooking Inc. handles personal information for IceBooking. It is written in plain language for Alberta and the rest of Canada. It is not a law-firm contract. A building’s own ice agreement is separate and is between you and that rink.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your name, email, password hash, and optional phone and profile details you enter. When you book ice or operate a building we store bookings, team names, join and approval settings, and related schedule data. If a rink requests card payment, Stripe processes the card; we store that the booking was paid, not your full card number. Mail we send (confirmations, codes, notices) uses the address on your account.

Why we use it

We use this information to run the schedule, sign you in, confirm your email, send product mail, support venue operators for their building, and process the venue plan and booking payments through Stripe.

Who else sees it

Venue operators see people who joined their building, bookings on their ice, and payment status for that rink. They do not see other buildings. Stripe processes card charges. Hosting and outbound mail run on our infrastructure providers. Platform administrators can open accounts and locations when supporting the product. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Account and schedule records stay while the account or building needs them to run IceBooking. You can ask us to update or remove account details where the product allows; some booking history may remain on a rink’s sheet because it is that building’s record of who had the ice.
